Informasi Penting Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru PTN 2020 ; SNMPTN, UTBK dan SBMPTN 2020

Jadwal penerimaan mahasiswa baru PTN tahun 2020 baru saja secara resmi diumumkan. Seperti tahun sebelumnya, penerimaan mahasiswa baru PTN tahun 2020 akan dilaksanakan melalui tiga jalur yaitu SNMPTN, SBMPTN, dan Seleksi Mandiri. Adapun jumlah kuota penerimaan tahun ini yaitu SNMPTN sebanyak 20 persen, SBMPTN 40 persen, dan penerimaan jalur Seleksi Mandiri sejumlah 30 persen dari daya tampung PTN.

Hal yang sangat penting pada proses penerimaan tahun 2020 yaitu para peserta wajib memiliki akun LTMPT sebagai tahapan awal pendaftaran. Sistem ini merupakan penerapan kebijakan Single Sign On (SSO) yang merupakan tahap awal dari pendaftaran baik SNMPTN, UTBK, maupun SBMPTN 2020. 

Terkait dengan registrasi akun LTMPT, jadwal pendaftaran dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu untuk PDSS dan SNMPTN, yang akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 Desember 2019 sampai 7 Januari 2020 dan registrasi akun LTMPT untuk UTBK dan SBMPTN dilaksanakan tanggal 7 Februari - 5 April 2020. Akun LTMPT dapat diperoleh dengan melakukan registrasi melalui laman portal.ltmpt.ac.id.

Sedangkan untuk UTBK dan SBMPTN, berikut jadwal yang bisa dicermati,

Pada penerimaan mahasiswa baru tahun ini Peserta Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK) hanya diperbolehkan mengikuti satu kali tes sesuai dengan kelompok tes yang diikutinya (Saintek, Soshum atau Campuran). Proses ini tentu berbeda dengan pelaksanaan UTBK tahun lalu yang setiap peserta diberikan kesempatan dua kali.

Pada UTBK 2020, waktu pelaksanaan berlangsung selama satu minggu dengan 14 sesi (dua sesi setiap hari) dan dilaksanakan di 74 Pusat UTBK PTN se-Indonesia. Hasil UTBK 2020 hanya berlaku untuk penerimaan mahasiswa baru tahun 2020 dan hasilnya akan diberikan pada peserta secara individu. 

Bagi siswa pendaftar dari keluarga kurang mampu secara ekonomi dapat mengajukan bantuan biaya pendidikan melalui program Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-K) atau Afinnasi Pendidikan Daerah 3T (ADik) dengan terlebih dahulu mempelajari prosedur pendaftaran program KJP -K dan ADik. Informasi dapat dilihat melalui laman http://kip-kuliah.kemdikbud.go.id dan http://adik.kemdikbud.go.id.

Informasi resmi yang mencakup tahapan seleksi, baik persyaratan, ketentuan pelaksanaan SNMPTN, UTBK, dan SBMPTN 2020 dapat diakses melalui laman resmi www.ltmpt.ac.id.

It was early in the morning we left Ubud and traveled to Gili Air which is one of three islands of Lombok. It took 4 hours in total by boat. The travelling was not bad but it was a hot day. I said to Jane on the slow boat " It`s alright babe, it won`t be so hot and stuffy once we get moving.”

When we got to Gili Air it was still quite so we were able to get a bungalow near the beach for about $ 15 a night plus breakfast. We shared our room with quite a number of geckos. Some of them were quite large ones.

The weather was still hot when I went diving. Jane waited for me at the seashore. She observed some fishermen who had just caught some fish. She did not want to dive because she had a trauma with sea animals. We had three days here which we spent walking around the island which takes about an hour. Every night, we sat on the couches near the beach and watched the waves and the stars. It was a fantastic journey that I ever had.

The Ambarawa Railway Museum houses 21 antique locomotives plus two more, which are stored in the depot. These locomotives are no longer produced; even the factories that made them no longer exist. The main building of this museum is the defunct Ambarawa railway station which was built in 1873. The station covers 127,500 m2.

The oldest in this museum is a locomotive made by Hartman Chemnitz. This locomotive, with a length of 8.58 m and a width of 2.45 m, began its operation in 1891. Using wood as fuel, the steam locomotive could run 50 km/h – its maximum speed.

Dalam kalimat bahasa Inggris kita sering menemukan kata "no" dan "not". Keduanya digunakan untuk menyatakan "tidak" meskipun dalam penggunaan pada kalimat bahasa Inggris berbeda. Ada beberapa aturan yang mendasari pemakaian kata "no" dan "not" dalam bahasa Inggris seeprti berikut ini, 

#1. Kata "no" biasanya diletakkan sebelum kata- kata nama tertentu seperti orang, barang, tepat, waktu, dan binatang seperti contoh berikut ini, no money, no chalk, no time, no friend, dll.

#4. Apabila dalam sebuah kalimat terdiri dari dua kata yang bermakna negatif, misalnya kata "not" dan kata "no" dalam kalimat, maka hindarilah memakai kata tersebut bersamaan.
Contoh kalimat,

  • Salah : I don't have no money.
  • Benar : I don't have any money.

  • Benar : I have no money.

Simple Past Tense menyatakan suatu aktifitas atau situasi yang mulai dan selesai pada waktu tertentu di masa lalu. Penanda waktu spesifik yang  sering digunakan dalam bentuk simple past tense adalah  yesterday, last (last week), ago ( a week ago), in (in 1980), at (at 7:00), from (from 1975 to 1998), atau when (when I was young). 

Dalam sebuah kalimat, kadang kita menemukan bentuk simple past tense yang dipadukan dengan bentuk tense yang lain, salah satunya adalah bentu past perfect tense. Past Perfect Tense menyatakan suatu aktifitas yang sudah selesai dikerjakan sebelum peristiwa lain terjadi. Dalam penggunaan kalimat, past perfect tense diikuti oleh kejadian lain, misalnya
  • When I reached the station, the train had left.
  • We went climbing to Mount Prau after we had taken an exam.
  • As soon as they had finished working, they ran out to play.
  • Before the police came, the thief had escaped.

Keterangan waktu yang sering digunakan untuk menghubungkan simple past tense dan past perfect tense adalah,
  • after = sesudah
  • as soon as = segera setelah
  • until/ till = hingga
  • before = sebelum
  • when = ketika

Dalam beberapa kasus tertentu, bila urutan peristiwa sudah jelas, tanpa menggunakan perbedaan  tenses baik simple past tense maupun past perfect tense, untuk menatakan peristiwa tersebut dapat menggunakan bentuk simple past tense dan simple past tense dengan menggunakan penghubung before. 
  • Shanti closed the window before she got into bed. (sudah jelas bahwa Shanti menutup jendela terlebih dahulu sebelum pergi tidur)

Pelaksanaan Ujian Nasional tahun pelajaran 2019/ 2020 sudah ada di depan mata dengan sudah dimulainya simulasi- simulasi pra- UN sekarang ini. Inilah saatnya adik- adik mempersiapkan segala sesuatunya untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Ujian Nasional saat ini bukanlah penentu kelulusan (- kebijakan yang masih dikaji), namun ujian nasional masih menjadi tolak ukur atau persyaratan nilai ke jenjang berikutnya. 

Melengkapi latihan-latihan yang diperuntukkan menghadapi Ujian Nasional, berikut ini saya sediakan soal latihan khususnya mapel bahasa Inggris untuk persiapan ujian nasional. Soal Ujian nasional bahasa Inggris terdiri dari soal listeniing dan soal reading. Komposisi soal listening  15 butir soal dan 35 soal reading yang terdiri atas soal teks reading dan soal incomplete dialogs. 

Soal listening sudah saya lengkapi pada posting sebelumnya dan memang saya pisahkan dengan latihan soal reading mengingat terlalu panjang tulisan atau posting. Nah, berikut kelanjutan dari latihan soal listening SMK yang sudah pernah saya tulis sebelumnya yaitu soal latihan ujian nasional (UN) Bahasa Inggris SMK Tahun 2019/ 2020 bagian reading. seperti biasa, soal bisa dikerjakan secara online dengan skor nilai akan tertera begitu selesai mengerjakan soal. The Ambarawa Railway Museum houses 21 antique locomotives plus two more, which are stored in the depot. These locomotives are no longer produced; even the factories that made them no longer exist. Soal Latihan Simple Past Tense vs Past Continuous (Progressive) Tense

Dalam penggunaannya, Simple Past tense menyatakan suatu aktiffitas yang sudah selesai pada waktu tertentu di masa lalu, atau menyatakan suatu kebiasaan , kejadian yang berulang- ulang di masa lalu.
Contoh kalimat,
  • He was in Jakarta yesterday.
  • I visited Lombok last year.
  • I always went to the mosque at night.
Sedangkan bentuk Past Continuous atau yang sering juga disebut dengan Past Progressive menyatakan suatu aktifitas yang sedang terjadi pada masa lampau. 
Contoh kalimat,
  • I was studying Grammar at 9:30 yesterday.
  • The boys were playing footbal at 4:30 yesterday afternoon.

Kedua bentuk tenses Simple Past dan Past Continuous dalam sebuah kalimat sering digunakan bersama- sama dengan penanda "when" dan "while". Dalam waktu yang sama, ada dua kejadian yag terjadi, satu kejadian dimulai sebelum kejadian lain dan masih sedang terjadi ketika kejadian yang satunya tersebut terjadi.
Contoh kalimat,

Latihan Soal Present Perfect vs Simple Past Bahasa Inggris

Dalam penggunaan sehari- hari, kadang kita sulit membedakan penggunaan antara Prresent Perfect Tense dengan Simple Past Tense. Meskipun keduanya sama- sama menyatakan aktifitas yang berhubungan dengan masa lampau, akan tetapi keduanya memiliki penggunaan yang sangatlah berbeda. 

Sebelum mengetahui perbedaan Present Perfect Tense dan Simple Past Tense lebih jauh, akan saya sampaikan sedikit rangkuman mengenai kedua tenses tersebut, kemudian akan disimpulkan perbedaan keduanya ditinjau dari penggunaannya.

Present Perfect Tense
SUBJECT + HAVE/ HAS + V III

a. Penggunaan
Digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu peristiwa/ perbuatan yang telah selesai terjadi atau dilakukan pada masa lampau dengan waktu yang tidak tertentu dan masih ada hubungannya dengan waktu sekarang.
Contoh :

  • Sandy has written an email.
  • Jenita has bought a new bike.
  • They have done the homework.

b. For and Since
Kalimat dalam Present Perfect Tense sering menggunakan kata For atau Since, dalam menunjukkan keterangan waktunya.

For (selama) , menunjukkan arti lamanya jangka waktu hingga kini, karenanya, For selalu diikuti oleh sejumlah jangka waktu tertentu.
Contohnya,

  1. for a week
  2. for three months
  3. for six days
  4. for a long time, dst.

Since (sejak), menunjukkan arti suatu saat tertentu pada waktu lampau hingga sekarang.
Misalnya,

  1. since August
  2. since the last five years
  3. since 1998

Contoh kalimat,

  • I haven't seen you since Saturday.
  • She hasn't seen me for a week
  • I have lived in Semarang since 2001.
  • They have built the monument for two months.

c. Penanda adverb
Dalam Present Perfect sering digunakan adverb berikut ini,

  • so far
  • almost
  • already
  • never
  • until now
  • up to the present
  • just (now)
  • still

Contoh Kalimat,

  1. She has just gone away
  2. The students have finished five chapters so far.
  3. Up to now, the writer hasn't continued the last chapter of his story.
  4. Joko has almost finished the thesis.

Selain penanda adverb diatas, Present Perfect juga sering menggunakan keterangan berikut ini,

  • recently =  baru- baru ini
  • lately = akhir- akhir ini
  • not ... yet = belum

Contoh :

  1. He hasn't finished the work yet.
  2. We have recently watched "Joker" at Cinema XXI.
  3. What has your manager done lately?

Juga, penggunaan Present Perfect sering menggunakan keterangan waktu sebagai berikut,

Contoh :

  1. They have gone shopping this week.
  2. She has met her lecturer this morning.

Simple Past Tense
SUBJECT + V II

a. Penggunaan
Menyatakan peristiwa yang sudah selesai dilakukan atau terjadi pada masa lampau dengan waktu tertentu.
Contoh :
  1. She met her uncle two days ago.
  2. I went to Bali last week.
  3. Jim married to Liza last year.

b. Menyatakan kebiasaan yang dilakukan pada masa lampau.
Contoh :
  1. He always brought a pocket dictionary.
  2. Last year it rained frequently in this area.
  3. We usually spoke English
  4. When I was young, we usually chatted under this tree after school.
c. Menyatakan peristiwa yang jelas terjadi pada masa lampau tetapi tidak disebutkan keterangan waktunya
Contoh :
  1. I bought this t-shirt in Bali
  2. When did you see me?
  3. The bus was fifteen minute late.
Adapun keterangan waktu yang biasa dipakai dalam Simple Past adalah, 
  • yesterday = kemarin
  • last .... = yang lalu
  • last week
  • last year
  • ... ago = yang lalu
  • two days ago
  • the other day = dulu
Kesimpulan :
Present Perfect tense digunakan menyatakan suatu peristiwa/ perbuatan yang telah selesai terjadi atau dilakukan pada masa lampau dengan waktu yang tidak tertentu dan masih ada hubungannya dengan waktu sekarang.
Sedangkan Simple Past menyatakan peristiwa yang sudah selesai dilakukan atau terjadi pada masa lampau dengan waktu tertentu tanpa ada hubungannya dengan waktu sekarang.

Contoh perbedaan kalimat,
  • I've never played golf in my life. (Present Perfect). Present perfect selalu berhubungan dengan masa sekarang.
  • I didn't play golf when I was on holiday last summer. (Simple Past). Simple Past menyatakan kejadian hanya pada masa lalu.
