Assignments, disebut sebagai sebagai terobosan bagi guru dalam menyederhanakan proses dalam pembelajaran khususnya pemberian pendampingan dan umpan balik yang sebelumnya memakan banyak waktu. Assignments mengkombinasikan fitur- fitur Google lainnya seperti Google Documents, Google Drive dan Google Search untuk kepentingan evaluasi guru baik pengumpulan tugas dan penilaian pekerjaan siswa.
